Ronald M. Berz Scholarship


Congratulations to Judy Bennett our Ronald M. Berz scholarship winner for this year. We received many wonderful applications. We thank everyone who took the time, the effort and thought to apply for this scholarship. We wish we could have awarded more of them.

We are proud to offer The Ronald M Berz Scholarship for the Women of Resilience Conference in Santa Fe February 15-18, 2018. This scholarship will provide round trip airfare to Santa Fe, lodging for five nights and a stipend of $500 to be enjoyed during the Women of Resilience conference, February 15-18, 2018 to be held at The Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Ronald was principal of Taft High School in Woodland Hills, California. During his tenure the school won 2 national Academic Decathlons, Football Championships and other awards. He was beloved and is remembered. The administration building of Taft High School is named for him. Applications are now being accepted for the Ronald M. Berz Scholarship. TO APPLY: Applications should include a 3-4 page double spaced essay on Sweet are the Uses of Adversity.
